Josh and I have returned from our lovely, but (as expected) too short, trip to Mexico City and Guanajuato. We had a jam-packed, great time. Josh is recovering from the food poisoning he picked up as a last-minute souvenir and we just picked up our photos…

We visited pyramids, archeological sites including altars for human sacrifice, Frida Kahlo’s house, Trotsky’s house, modern art galleries, ate at the best taco stand we will probably ever find, and cheered and booed at lucha libre matches. After several days in Mexico City, we bussed to a lovely town called Guanajuato where we slowed things down a little and took advantage of little cafes and city squares full of musicians…

Now I am trying to accept that I am no longer a lady of leisure.

I am working on the second of the two latest commissions and in the beginning stages of a new project, but might not be posting any pics for a while. Josh and I are going on holiday on Friday for ten days!

Ta-da! Here is the first finished commissioned piece for the lovely lady who bought “Tiny Bluet”. This is a wedding gift for her friends, who really like bikes. Hope they like this gift too. It’s called “Double Happiness” and it’s 14 x 18″ of love.
